Description

Are you looking for some early spring blooms? Hepatica (Hepatica acutiloba) will brighten up your spring garden and attract early pollinators. Hepatica’s small and very delicate flowers may appear as early as March in the Southern part of Ontario and around May in more Northern areas. Hairy leaves stay slightly green to brownish throughout all winter. Can be planted around rock gardens and woodland paths. Quite hardy and able to emerge when spring snow is still on the ground.
